How Tae-Kwon-Do Has Changed My Life
By Christopher Deraney
I have learned many things in all the years I have been studying the art of Tae-Kwon-Do.
It has taught me to be a good person and to respect others. I have learned to do unto
others as I wish them to do to me. It has taught me to do my best and never give up, no
matter what the circumstances are. There is a rule that says, "Always finish what you start."
I take that rule very seriously. An example is that I have been going to Tae-Kwon-Do for 7 years
and have not ever thought of quitting. I have come so far in all the years I have been studying
Tae-Kwon-Do. Tae-Kwon-Do has taught me to respect my body, mind and spirit. To respect my body,
I should not abuse it with junk food, and other unnatural things.

What has changed in my life due to Tae Kwon Do
By Richard R. Deraney
While that may seem like an easy question to answer, there is so much that goes through my
mind when I think of this. I asked myself "Do I measure this in increments of the last 7 years or
do I try to understand my life today?" Well the truth is I am not sure how to answer this question.
It is very apparent that my life has changed but as I have come to this point in my life I realize
that this is my journey. This is exactly where I am supposed to be right now. My heart has softened
and my mind has grown. I look for the simple truths in my life.

Why I Respect My Parents
By Alexa Semonche
My parents are the only ones who can guide me through my childhood and future. Many experiences, losses,
and gains have passed through their life and by experiencing them, they can inform me and give me advice
for my many years to come. They are helping me climb the ladder of success, pushing and encouraging for me
to take one more step each time there's a splinter or tack. My mom and dad are people in my life that I can
trust and every dad are people in my life that I can trust and every day and support me more times that
anyone could ever count, and that's why I respect them.
